visual studio 2017 codelens
The option to enable codelense that is supposed to be in Tools -> Options and then navigating through Text Editor -> All Languages -> CodeLens simply isn't there. I rememeber that I once disabled it in ?VS2015 (maybe even VS2013), CodeLens is not available in the Community editions. You need Professional or higher to switch it on. In VS2015, one way to "get" CodeLens was to install the SQL Server Developer Tools (SSDT) but I believe this has been rectified in VS2017.
