ubuntu 14.04 mount cifs permission denied
I think you have the wrong security type for the server , error 13 means the server isn't letting you in. You will need to select the right security ..., i had this same error. what solved it for me is reverting mount.cifs's ... I am using Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS after upgrading and had the same problem.
