After upgrading a DL380 G8 from v5.5. to v6.0 the host shows zero Observed IP Ranges. The VM's go offline as if their is no network ... , Observed IP range does not show network in ESX or ESXi (1006744) In vCenter Server, the observed IP range does not show the network. Observed IP range is picked up by physical traffic or if CDP has been enabled on your physical network switch.
