Sorry but I don't see what could be the probem here :) A tool like bc which accepts whatever format you may give: [ $(bc <<< "$disk>=50") -eq 1 ].,sh-2.05$ echo $0 /bin/sh. I couldn't run just num=$num+1. Maybe I'm getting screwed up with the login shell and the script shell. is there a way to do this in csh ...
