ap 1 promoter

We have investigated the role of the two AP-1 sites, located at approximately -150 and -180 bp relative to the transcription start site, in induction of the IL-2 promoter through the TCR/CD3 complex. We show that only the proximal (-150 bp) AP-1 site is ,The AP-1 binding site, also known as the AP-1 promoter site, is a DNA nucleotide sequence to which AP-1 transcription factors are able to bind. The AP-1 binding site, in humans, has a nucleotide sequence of ATGAGTCAT. External links[edit]. AP-1 Nucleotide
