Another vote for Block-This. I used it on my S7E and am using it on my Note 8, both unrooted Verizon phones. Works awesome. But you do ... ,Don't know about blocking specifically for YouTube, but Disconnect Pro ($25 paid app on Galaxy Apps Store), is a rootless ad-blocker.
