What's new in this version:

New:
- Default to dark theme on macOS if Dark Mode (available as of 10.14 Mojave) is the system-wide preference
- Sticking (the process of assigning certain notes to either our left or right hand) as a new command

Improvements:
- Make basic colors of the application including voice colors consistent
- 7/8 time signature was added to advanced workspace and master palette
- Avoid poor alignment of hairpins to dynamics bound to the segment before hairpin start
- Add style settings allowing MDL templates to follow basic drum line notation rules better
- Double/triple-clicking in a text editing mode now selects a word/paragraph respectively

- Playback tempo was incorrect when working in continuous view

What's new in this version:

Drag and Drop:
- Dragging elements over the page is now smoother, thanks to improved performance under the hood
- The Tree doesn’t jump up and down when dragging elements over the page. And the page doesn’t jump up and down when dragging elements over the tree
Both page view and the tree still show the drop position, but they don’t scroll to it when it’s out of the view

CSS improvements and fixes:
- Fixed importing stylesheets from external urls
- Improved syncing with external editors for imported files
- CSS rules with same media queries are grouped together (if the new rule comes after or before the existing media query declaration it is added into it)
- Gradient and shadow CSS editors

Major update to WordPress Theme Builder:
- The purpose of WordPress Theme Builder is to let us easily create WordPress themes with custom designs and flexible content model that is tailored to specific requirements of every individual project
- The present iteration of the WordPress builder achieves this goal

Even smarter Smart Actions:
- For this release we greatly improved the set of Smart WordPress actions that now support posts relationships, advanced loop structures, author fields and even fully-featured form handler
- The general principle of Smart actions is that they adjust the WordPress output to fit into your custom HTML structure and styling – not the other way around
- Smart actions are now divided in two groups: Post smart actions that are used to display posts and their properties, and Site smart actions that can be used anywhere on the page
- New smart actions are compatible with the old smart actions

New Theme Settings:
- Theme Settings now have a proper dialog box and also support defining custom image sizes. Use “WordPress -> Theme Settings” to open the settings

- WordPress menu grew larger, with additions of Theme Settings, Page Settings, Update theme screenshot, clearing the theme folder and more
- Import WordPress content for the whole page
- No more running Import WordPress content on individual elements. Now doing WordPress -> Import content from the site populates the whole page with content taken from the WordPress site

- Regenerate functions.php
- Changed the theme slug? Want to use the latest functions.php preset? Just regenerate the file with WordPress -> Regenerate functions.php. Note that doing this will remove any manual edits you did to functions.php

Control which files are exported:
- Project panel shows what files and folders are copied to the theme and what HTML files are exported into template files
- Right-click on the file or folder to change its default export setting

What's new in this version:

- At Vivaldi, we continue to focus on our two hallmarks – privacy and customization. We are always looking to enhance what a browser should provide, and the latest version of Vivaldi has a handful of new features that do just that
- We’ve improved security by blocking advertisements on sites with abusive ad practices. There are new ways to navigate quicker, customize user profiles along with overall improvements that add more flexibility to Vivaldi’s intuitive user interface

Browse safe with no abusive ads:
- We want you to be safe while on the web, and worry less about who’s abusing you with dangerous ads
- We’ve added a new functionality to block adverts that use abusive technologies and ads designed to be misleading. The Abusive ad-blocker functionality stops ads from sites that are causing you problems, such as pop-ups that prevent you from leaving the site
- The Abusive ad-blocker gives the browser access to a blocklist that has been enabled by default and can be turned off in the “Privacy” section of Vivaldi Settings. This feature is an addition to our wide range of privacy settings
- The blocklist is hosted on our end-to-end encrypted servers. It is updated from the server automatically by the browser, and applied to intrusive websites without needing to contact the server each time
- Going forward, the blocklist of abusive ads gives us the opportunity to consider adding similar, related functionality for the benefit of our users. The way that we’ve implemented this functionality is an interesting step in the direction of relying less on third-party services

More personality to user profiles:
- We know that you love to make Vivaldi personal. And we always work towards improving every feature so that you feel it is built precisely for you. We’ve got great feedback on our support for User Profiles and based on that we’ve added new ways to customise those for you
- For the uninitiated, you can create multiple “users” without logging into a different operating system user account, or the need to maintain multiple standalone installations of Vivaldi

The inherited default set of avatars clearly needed more customization even if you are logged in through your Vivaldi account. Now you can make this process much easier and personal for non-synced profiles with the following additions:
- Update the avatars
- Add and delete profiles in the pop-up
- Edit avatar within the pop-up

More highlights of Vivaldi 2.6:
- We want you to stay ahead, browse smarter and faster. Just like our previous updates, this one is no exception adding more efficiency and convenience to your browsing
- Filter saved passwords: Imagine scrolling through a long list to find your saved passwords, for example, a particular bank account? Go to Settings ? Privacy and you can easily find your saved passwords by filtering either through account names or websites. Super convenient!
- Keep a tab on unread tabs in the Window Panel: When you open a link in a background tab, you’ll be notified in the Window Panel if it is unread. The unread tab counter tells you precisely the number of tabs that still need your attention
- Navigate faster with ‘Find in Page’: Are you a keyboard lover looking for a specific word or a term in a lengthy article or post? You can find whatever you are looking for much faster with ‘Find in Page’ – if the search result is a link, it can be opened instantly using Ctrl+Enter
- Visually enhanced Search Field: The magnifying glass on the Search Field on the right side of the Address Bar can now display the favicon of the active search engine, helping you to easily identify the search engine. Enable this under Settings > Search
- Game is still on: Our previous update with Razer Chroma integration grabbed quite a few eyeballs but this time we’ve got your ears as well. Users requested for support for Razer headphone devices and we’ve added it
- Performance improvements to speed up Vivaldi
- We’ve made performance improvements that will appeal to those of you who work with loads of tabs. There is a marked improvement if you tile tabs into split-screen views, or often move tabs to new windows. Opening, closing, and resizing of Panels in the sidebar is also much snappier

Changes:
- Fixed a crash that could happen with the popular third-party obs-ndi plugin
- Fixed the tray icon being shown even when the tray icon was disabled in settings
- Fixed a display bug with sources when a custom color was applied to the list item in the sources list box
- Fixed a bug where background-removing cameras would have a hall of mirrors effect

New Features/Improvements:
- Made a number of major internal improvements to the macOS browser source, eliminating many mac-related crashes that it would cause when browser sources were in use on macOS. This also fixes the issue of the program having an initial startup delay where the everything appeared blank. (Author note: I managed to get browser panels functioning, but they still have some issues, so service integration is still not yet available on macOS)
- Added the ability to preview transitions in the properties of a transition via a new Preview button
- Added an estimate to remaining available recording time according to available disk space
- Added luma key video effect filter
- Added the ability to set the exact desired dB volume value of sources in the advanced audio properties, replacing the percentage value
- Added the ability to center items vertically/horizontally in the transform menus
- Added a hotkey to toggle the preview
- Added the ability to output the preview rather than program to a decklink device when in studio mode
- Added the ability to copy and paste filters to/from scenes in addition to sources
- Added the ability to manually set the network buffer size to the Media source when used in URL mode
- Added the top patrons list to the about dialog in the help menu
- The sources list box in the bottom-center of the main window now displays a message when there are no sources in the current scene, making it easier for first-time users to understand that they need to add sources

Bug Fixes/Tweaks:
- Fixed an issue on Linux where the program would not be able to capture some monitors
- Fixed a bug where the "test bandwidth" option wouldn't reset properly until the program was restarted
- Fixed a bug where the program would freeze up when an encoder error occurs in the middle of a recording or stream (it now shows an error and should now safely recover)
- Fixed a bug where the selection lines of rotated items would incorrectly scale
- Fixed a bug where audio would no longer work when certain types of audio devices are unplugged and plugged back in again
- Fixed a bug where you could not press escape to cancel when renaming a scene
- Fixed a bug where opacity on the mask/blend filter would not work under certain circumstances
- Fixed a bug where fractional framerate recordings (59.94, 29.97) recorded with the new version of NVENC would have incorrect DTS timestamps in the recording file
- Fixed an issue with VAAPI encoder on Linux where CBR would not always output at a constant bitrate
- Fixed an issue where cookies would not properly be saved for browser panels (Twitch Chat/etc) when shutting down the program
- Fixed some crashes that could happen when using QSV

- Recording errors should now gives more detailed errors when they occur
- Replaced most icons with SVG icons, making icons look better and more consistent across different DPI scalings
