ArgoUML 是純 Java 開源 UML CASE（計算機輔助軟件工程）工具，為面向對象設計提供認知支持。 ArgoUML 完全是用 Java 編寫的，並使用 Java 基礎類。 ArgoUML 符合 UML 1.4 的 OMG 標準。核心模型庫是 Java 元數據接口（JMI）的一個實現，它直接支持 MOF，並使用 OMG 1.4 提供的機器可讀版本的 OMG.6235896

XMI 支持
XMI 是一個基於 XML 的 UML 工具之間的交換格式。 ArgoUML 將其作為標準的保存機制，以便與其他工具輕鬆交換，並符合開放標準。此外，還可以將模型導出到 XMI 中.
多個圖導出格式
圖可以保存為 GIF，PNG，PostScript，封裝 PS，PGML 和 SVG.
其他特性
